J. P. Sniadecki

J.P. Sniadecki is a doctoral candidate in the Social Anthropology Department at Harvard University with an emphasis on Chinese society, media anthropology, and filmmaking. Sniadecki’s debut film, Working classics (2002), which he directed as an undergraduate at Grand Valley State University, is a documentary about his work as a liberal arts instructor in a progressive education program for inmates at a Michigan prison. Working classics screened at the 2003 East Lansing Film Festival and helped the program garner support from the American Philosophical Association and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
